Accounts Receivable Specialist - Temp to Hire

Pay: $25 - $30 per hour

Ledgent Finance & Accounting is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role is ideal for someone with high-volume billing and A/R experience, strong follow-through, and proven QuickBooks proficiency. You'll play a key role in maintaining accurate customer accounts and supporting financial operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Process high-volume billing, including generating invoices, verifying coding, and ensuring timely delivery
  • Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable, including cash application, payment posting, and customer account maintenance
  • Monitor and reconcile A/R aging, follow up on past-due balances, and perform soft collections
  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies, collaborating with internal departments as needed
  • Prepare customer statements and support month-end A/R reporting
  • Maintain accurate financial and customer records in QuickBooks (Desktop or Online)
  • Assist with ad-hoc A/R projects and support accounting leadership

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Accounts Receivable experience
  • Strong QuickBooks proficiency (required)
  • High-volume billing background with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills for customer follow-up and dispute resolution
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and problem-solving ability
